  5. Brussels seminar, May 2002. The Social Inclussion of Deafblind people in Europe.
    There are at least 150,000 deafblind citizens livings in the European Union. The personal testimony which forms the basis of this report, reveals a group of people who count as amongst the most socially excluded citizens in Europe. They face unique disadvantages in a world that is organised for the hearing and sighted.
    The report goes on to make recommendations on how the European Union can play a role in combating social exclusion.

  8. Family event "3rd European Family Conference" Kosice, Slovakia. 1999. September 1999. The theme of the conference was "Parents as Resources -How Parents can help other Parents and Professionals". The aim was to exchange knowledge and ideas which could be of benefit to other parents and professionals, particularly in countries where specialist services and support are limited or non existent.
