Membership



Overview

The EDbN membership is a valuable source of knowledge, experience and expertise on deafblind issues in the European Union. Deafblind people, parents and professionals all EU and other EEA member states and European NGOs as support members, the EDbN cover all aspects of deafblindness at a European level.

Please do join EDbN to take part in our vital campaigning work or just to find out about what is happening in Europe and share ideas and experiences. Please read how to join the EDbN.

How to join EDbN as a member?

EDbN is committed to the promotion of the rights people with deafblindness. If you agree with this aim then you must become part of our network.

What can EDbN offer its members?

As an EDbN member you will be part of a dynamic and senior network at European level. You will access information and have insight on EU policies and programmes from the deafblind movement perspective, participate in European campaigns, be involved in the definition of common positions, exchange experiences, news, ideas and, develop cooperation on joint projects.

You will have access to our members' only e-group. You will receive e-mail information on EDbN activities including news from the EU institutions and EDF. A link to the website of your organisation with a description will be included on the EDbN web site.

We can provide information and advice on achieving recognition of deafblindness in your country.

Electronic group for members

When you join EDbN you will be invited to join the e-group (electronic group).

The EDbN e-group is a closed e-mail list, the messages will only be read by members of the list. It is a Yahoo group so we apologise for the advertising at the bottom of our messages.
